Exploratory project:
TANGLED UP IN BLUE

During this ongoing project I explore organic forms, material and technique whilst applying it to furniture. I want to create a smooth, organic and limber look whilst creating solid and strong furniture mainly in wood and metal. I explore how to make hard and strong materials look soft and organic and how to make 3D-printed or computer made objects, from digital 3D-files, look och feel organic and hand crafted.

 

What you see here in my portfolio is my explorational process, whilst designing a dining room table, as well as prototypes in scale 1:1, models in scale 1:5 and 1:10 and digital 3D models.

 

This exploratory project was exhibited in a group exhibition at Röhsska Design Museum in Gothenburg in 2021.
